Karlsruhe, 18th October 2013
It is a tradition of ECAM Strasbourg-Europe to organise trips to the neighbouring country of Germany in order to encourage students to develop their language skills.
During this journey, we had the opportunity to meet German people and for most of us to visit Germany for the first time.
I was kindly surprised to see some of my friends having a real conversation with two young
students with a perfect German accent. It allowed us to find fast food restaurants easily and just feel nice.
Moreover we spent a lot of time analysing the architectural aspect of the buildings in Karlsruhe compared to the French ones.
We also had the opportunity to visit the ZKM (Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie), a mix of modern art and technology which was appreciated by the students.
I would qualify this journey out in Germany as a rewarding experience and I hope our school will organise several trips next year.
